TORRE FUERTE

Torre Fuerte (Proverbs 18:10) is a interdenominational Christian, non-profit church development organization and mercy ministry working in economically disadvantaged urban, remote and rural areas in Peru. Torre Fuerte is the global missions training partner for The Center for Missional Leadership with training locations in greater Lima, and in Iquitos, Peru.

The organization was founded by Victor Castilla, charter board members and churches from the greater Lima area, and a handful of Christian non-profit organizations from the United States, including The Center for Missional Leadership.

The mission and ministry of Torre Fuerte includes church planting, discipleship, medical ministry, construction, community development and church resourcing for the approximately 40 churches that are a part of our network. Torre Fuerte is also active in caregiving and everyday mission. We oversee and care for the development of two Christian childrens homes in metro Lima, Rebano de Jesus and Casa Juan Pablo, and also answer The Great Commission through Peru to the Nations.

Torre Fuerte works with several South and North American churches, NGO's and short term missionaries in reciprocal mission and discipleship, networking the global body of Christ together in a unified gospel movement, developing everyday missionaries as the primary mission and the purpose of life.

NEW DISCIPLESHIP SCHOOL - 2012

Torre Fuerte founded a discipleship school for training pastors and everyday missionaries for the America’s in Barranco, Peru. Classes opened on February 4, 2012.

The school will train pastors and missionaries (Peru to the Nations) to work in the kingdom fields. The teachers for the school include the staff of Torre Fuerte and adjunct teachers / professors from South America and the United States.
